Updated Oct 26, 2006: Sriram Iyer provided some updates which I have included. Please see his comments below. Thanks Sriram.
On the prev topic (regional blogging) someone mentioned baraha a mulltilingual tool (need to look itup) Sriram Iyer is one of the organizers and is a colleague. Sriram talks about Blogswara (Ganesh posted on this last week). We have tracks on it, it also has a blog. He is taking us through some of the individual blogs. We have plans to make it next level – we want to start special blogs similarly for specific genres. Blogswara is mainly fusion type. Someone posts the tune, someone else writes the lyric etc. This is how blogswara works. All the contributors are mostly from other professions but are using blogswara to make music. Starts playing a few tracks. Plays an excellent tune from blogswara srivi’s blog called Srivi Raindrops and then “Srivi raghuvamsa distorted”. Then another great one [from Blogswara] called Sendhamara which includes vocal singing as well. Then onto “Strike Zone” another nice tune [from Blogswara].
Hi Sukumar,
There’s a clarification on this one.
The two tracks with Srivi’s name are from her blog – http://srivsank.blogspot.com and the last two tracks are from BlogSwara.
This presentation was on Music Blogs and included both – individual music blogs and BlogSwara. In this regard, I was only a presenter for BlogSwara and not a member.
Regards
Sriram
